Kindness

canyon light-
the kindness
of an old friend

The Blues

mountain rain
the steady grey
I see in her eyes

Mountain Haiku

mountain trail
fallen leaves still alive
with sunset
a creak
of a swaying redwood-
the stillness in me

Things that spin…

half-moon
the glitter of bay
over and over again

My Recent Poems

Reflection of her eyes
hidden in stars
praying widow

***

Glittering waters
strands of seaweed
decorate her toes

***

Over the edge
reflections
swimming in her hair

***

Grey crane tiptoes
intently for his supper
between dusk and moon

***

The pink of dusk
reflecting
from her lips

***

A line of fog
reversing
its direction

***

Her little hands
around my neck, pull me
closer to her heart

***

Summer afternoon
I like mine
with a twist

***

Entranced by the sun
only to find warning
in blacking skies

***

A fever of soul
soaking her skin
then, a cool breeze

***

Mid afternooon
moon sneaking a peek
in fold of blue sky

***

In between crystals
tiny flowering pots
breeze alive with bamboo

***

Rays of cracks
weave across the road
filled with red poppies

***

Dazed
the foaming sea
spotted a star

***

A silent moment
and a glance
of mist

***

Little hand
holding gently to my skin
dreaming of stars

***

She dreams
somewhere
between moon and stars

***

The stillness
of late morning
in her sleeping sigh

***

Speckled clouds
bright
in my eyes

***

Grasses on my back
and the stars
nibbling my toes

***

Not trying
she releases
the sky

***

Her sadness
knotted in shoestrings
unnoticed

***

Her lips
are full
of daybreak

***

The pink of summer
dripping from her lips
watermelon delight

***

Her locks
dripping, sweet scented
stars on her thighs

***

The last hot night
of summer
tastes bittersweet

***

City tunnel
the coming and going
of shadows

***

The note she found
next to apple slices
folded in half

***

The Buddha and me
upon pine needles
seeing stars

***

White and grey gulls
bathing in hidden lagoon
silent like cats

***

That moment
we lock eyes and see each other
for the first time

***

Soft grass cradles her
like he once did
through the night

***

The stars
she fed
in her dreams

***

Distant fog
my heart beats
the time away

***

The stars
erased
the pain

***

Dripping honey
falling on soft grass
her sexy smile

***

Sliced melon
in wooden bowl
sprinkled with flies
